SIDOXIA'S STORY

SIDOXIA'S STORY

The greatest leaders and innovations in history have been created with the help of optimism. Our firm name, Sidoxia, is inspired by the Greek word for optimism. For every problem there is a corresponding opportunity and solution. Sidoxia was established to fill a void in the financial services marketplace for independent, client-driven advice that is free of conflicts.

Sidoxia was founded by Wade W. Slome, CFA®, CFP® in 2008 in Newport Beach, California. Having managed a $20 billion mutual fund and worked in the industry for more than thirty years, Mr. Slome’s extensive experience and credentials allow him to provide institutional-quality service to all clients.

The optimistic theme underlying Sidoxia’s name also stems from Mr. Slome’s older brother, who earned an academic award for being the “Most Optimistic” before he succumbed to complications related to his mental illness.
