Meet the Team

Wade Slome, CFA, CFP^® is the president of Sidoxia Capital Management, LLC, which he founded in Newport Beach, California during 2007. Wade has worked in the investment industry since 1993, and while managing the multi-billion flagship fund at American Century Investments, Bloomberg identified him as the second youngest manager among the largest 25 actively-managed U.S. mutual funds in 2005. Wade has been a media go-to resource as seen on CNBC and ABC News. He has also been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, New York Times, Dow Jones, Investor's Business Daily, Bloomberg, Smart Money, among other media publications. Online, he is lead editor of the widely followed investment blog, InvestingCaffeine.com and has been a contributing writer to Morningstar, Seeking Alpha, GuruFocus, and other financial websites. Besides his work at Sidoxia, Wade has taught investment and financial planning courses at the University of California, Irvine extension department.

Prior to founding Sidoxia Capital Management, Wade served as Portfolio Manager on American Century Investments’ largest mutual fund, Ultra, from October 2002 through August 2007. As the senior Portfolio Manager on Ultra in 2007, Wade was responsible for day-to-day trading and marketing duties. Ultra at times exceeded $20 billion in assets and was among the nation’s top 10 Large Cap Growth funds according to the assets under management during his tenure. Wade also served as Portfolio Manager on the Select fund (Large Cap Growth) for a brief period after acting as Investment Analyst on Ultra, where he covered a broad set of industries from mid-1998 through mid-2002.

Before joining American Century Investments in 1998, Wade worked as a Research Analyst at William O'Neil & Company, Inc. from 1993 through 1996.

Wade earned a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from Cornell University (1998) and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles (1993).

In Wade’s free time, he enjoys participating in sprint triathlons and travelling (25 countries and 5,000 mile RV trip). Wade currently resides in Huntington Beach, California.

Kevin Weaver directs business operations at Sidoxia Capital Management, with an emphasis on client engagement and planning. Since joining the firm in 2010, Kevin's expertise and experience allow him to spearhead solutions ranging from trade execution, to client service, to business development, while also managing the firms custodial relationships. As the senior research analyst, Kevin manages Sidoxia’s proprietary research platform, and spearheads the firm’s fundamental analysis process.

Prior to joining Sidoxia, Kevin earned a bachelor’s degree in business economics as well as a minor in history from the University of California, Irvine (UCI). While attending UCI, he was an active member of the UCI Finance Association and STAT (Stock Trading and Arbitrage Team). Building upon his existing work experience, Kevin holds the CFP^® (Certified Financial Planner^®) credential.

Outside the office, Kevin is an avid beach volleyball player who also spends time trekking through the Sierras and experiencing new destinations. Hailing from San Diego, Kevin resides in Costa Mesa with his family and border collie.

Keith Bong has over 30 years of professional investment and financial experience, spanning both international Fortune 500 companies and domestic small businesses. Prior to teaming up with Sidoxia in 2014, his employment history included stints at SK Corp., American Tape Co., and Merrill Lynch (1987 – 2001), as well as the management of his boutique investment advisory and professional services company (2002 – 2014).

In addition to holding the CFA Charterholder and CPA designations, Keith graduated with an MBA from Columbia University with a concentration in finance and accounting. He also has a BA from UCLA with a double major in economics and political science.

Keith’s functional experience includes mergers and acquisitions, financial planning and analysis, strategic planning, sales and marketing, and business process outsourcing. He has also taught more than 1,000 college students in undergraduate finance courses over the last ten years for the University of Phoenix.

While his work experience and education is broad, his passion and joy in following the securities markets is what brings most value to his clients. His personal interests include jogging, reading, and traveling the world. Keith lives with his wife and son in Irvine, California.

Sivi is a versatile professional with over a decade of successful experience, driven by an unwavering commitment to innovation. Her expertise spans project management, marketing, and customer service with extensive knowledge in banking, real estate, and hospitality, enabling her to excel in diverse roles.

Now, Sivi serves as the Administrative Specialist at Sidoxia to help ensure effective day-to-day operations. A key contributor to the Sidoxia leadership team, her innovative growth strategies and customer-centric problem-solving effectively streamline operations, resulting in an elevated client service experience.

Sivi was born and raised in Helsinki, Finland and currently resides in Huntington Beach, California. She shares her coastal life with her partner and two furry friends: a 3-year-old bunny and a 1.5-year-old dog. When she's not at the beach enjoying activities with her loved ones and pets, Sivi brings her expertise to her professional endeavors.
